Our story
If we could sum our story up in one word it would be, "Family". In 1973 Lawrenceville Auto Electric started in the back yard of Dewey Childers home with just a dream, some tools, and a lot of hard work. As time went on the business grew and his son Kenneth joined the ranks and they moved into a small shop in Lawrenceville. Through their hard work and dedication to customer service the business continued to grow. In 1979, son Chris Childers joined the business and the company moved to their current location on Hurricane Shoals Rd. Here the business has thrived and grown into the 9,000sq ft. business that it is today. As we look to the future, we look forward to carrying on the tradition of great work, strong relationships, and excellence in diesel and electric repairs.
